What do we do?
Here at Mobilitybase, were passionate about our Homelift Installations. Whether it’s a discreet single person Compact Homelift, or one of our larger wheelchair Through the Floor Lifts, each installation receives the same amount of careful attention that it deserves so that ‘You’, our customer not only get just what you wanted, but the journey from Inquiry through to completed installation is as smooth as possible.
Get things started
To get things started, first we discuss where you would like your Homelift installed within your property. Careful consideration has to be made for access, ease of use, and the construction of your home. All of these points will be covered in easy to understand terms so that you have a full understanding of just how the work will be done.
Prepare an aperture
Next, we book in a Homelift Builder to prepare the aperture ready for the lift to be installed. This stage of the job is often completed within one day, usually around 4 – 5 hours. The Homelift Builder will make sure your belongings are kept safe and dust is kept to a minimum while the work takes place. On completion of the Homelift aperture, the area will be left clean and safe ready for the Homelift installation team.
Install your Homelift
Installation of your Homelift follows the building work, usually the next day. A team of two trained Homelift installers will arrive with your lift ready to start work. We allocate 2 working days for installation of the Through the Floor Lift but often this is complete in a day and a half.
Once the Homelift has been installed, a full demonstration of how it works is conducted and any questions you may have can be answered. The Homelift installation team will have a thorough tidy up and make sure your home is left nice and clean leaving you to enjoy your new lift.
If you have any questions about this blog or Homelifts in general, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We would be pleased to hear from you.
